Eyes and borqes #2

Ehsan Mirhoseyni (1985 in Bandar Abbas, Hormozgan, Iran) has done works on traditional culture, especially the women’s burqa and the social issues surrounding them, as well as the legends of this region in the field of painting, photography and the new art. In addition, he began a massive research on the burqa in Hormozgan since 2006, which led to preserve burqe that was going to decline and he published its results in the book “Burqa, Climatic Art and Aboriginal Identity.” in 2015.
He took part in several exhibitions and festivals such as solo exhibition (“Gariz, Aesthetics of Pain”, photo, video art and installation art, 2012) and group exhibition (“Image of Women in Iranian Contemporary Art” at Armenian Center for Contemporary Experimental Arts, 2015) and festival (Fadjr International Festival of Visual Arts, Tehran, 2012). He held a master’s degree in painting and bachelor in visual arts education, as well as teaching at universities and art schools, being director of educational and research visual arts website. His works have been published in various books and publications, such as “Festival of Art for Peace book”, “Photographic, Scientific, Cultural, Artistic magazine” and “Scientific and Analytical Iranian Artist House Publication”.
